I created this work during a trip to Mexico in early 2022. After completing shamanic training in the remote Mexican desert, an unexpected incident gave me no choice but to continue without knowing what the future held; Lost and out of balance, the incident changed the whole purpose of my trip. I was going through a profound, emotionally turbulent inner readjustment when I created this piece, but during this time, I gradually found my inner strength and regained my true identity. From then on, I decided to use my birth name Yang on all my art creations.
