One of important stage in Alchemy is Conjunction refers to the process of combining the elements from the previous three stages with earth element. It symbolize a harmonious dance between opposing yet complementary forces—Earth and Water embodying the material and emotional, while Fire and Air represent the energetic and intellectual. We begin a process of embodiment as the spirit begins its process of materialization.

In this stage of Alchemy, one feels unified in body and soul, polarities cease their conflict and come together, such as male and female, body and soul, spirit and matter. Harmony is achieved between the different elements of one’s being. It is at this moment where we re-integrate. Unconscious and conscious come together. At this stage, though we are aware of the social structures the duality that are at play in the world, we are not influenced by them, we are free. Here, the alchemist is seeking to understand and integrate these elements, endeavors to achieve a balance that leads to transformation and spiritual enlightenment.
