My fascination with yogic philosophy and Indian religion has grown over many years. A trip to India in 2019 inspired this painting as I travelled the country alone. I started part of the painting while I was in Osho. Om is the primordial sound of the Universe; it refers to ultimate reality, truth, divine cosmic principles, and knowledge. Everything is rooted in the cosmic principle, and the lotus represents rebirth and purity. Growth comes from regenerating yourself through understanding and truth, and through the reality of the cosmos, we become the light of others.
