Tree of Life, 2022

The inspiration for this piece came during my shamanic training in a remote part of Mexico. For weeks, I slept under the Earth Dome, without electricity (or showers), and lived a simple rustic life without technology and the constant interrupt of modern life. During my training, I meditated u energy flowing through the tree. I felt the expansion and contraction in harmony with the tree, and grounded, I received the energy from the sky, conjoining with me as one. Truly present and reengaged with the natural rhythm of nature, I felt this beautiful truth: Everything is interconnected.
